Glad you asked. I'm Anshita and I have a passion for creating things. I'm a freelance artist and computer science student. I love tackling challenges and making things that have tangible impacts.

My interest in software engineering began unexpectedly during quarantine, the more I learned, the more I was enamored by the beauty, complexity and simplicity of it.

Fast forward to today and I'm studying at Boston University and currently working at the Massachusetts Historical Society, as a full-stack developer. I want to learn more about building optimized and scalable programs and aspire to a career that will allow me to channel a facet of my creativity through code.

These are some of the languages and frameworks that I've been working with recently:

 Java
 Python
 Javascript
 HTML & CSS/SASS
 React
 Vue
 Node.js
 Flask

Other things about me:

I love to go hiking with my dog, Rex. We visited Acadia this summer!
My favorite thing to eat are soups/soup adjacent items
 I'm a nationally certified EMT
